1. Apply a serum or face oil on clean skin before using the Gua Sha to allow it to glide more easily.
2. Using light yet firm pressure, sweep the Gua Sha across different areas of your face using upward or sideways strokes.
3. Though it’s perfectly safe to use your Gua Sha daily, we recommend starting out by using it thrice a week to see how your skin responds to it.

 

Note: If you're new to gua sha, you may experience purging in the first two weeks. This is completely normal and a sign that your skin is getting rid of toxins and dead skin cells.

During this time, it's important to be gentle with your skin and continue to use the Gua Sha regularly. You may want to reduce the frequency of your treatments to 3-4 times per week until your skin settles down.
